It’s All Gone

It’s All Gone

REMINDER from Mano:

Be heartfully aware that the plants in your yard think of you as family. The trees along the road you drive daily look for your presence. They know who you are. To send a loving hello would be such a blessing and bonding, human to nature, which would bless you both.

REMEMBERING Mary Jane:

This is getting close to the time of Mary Jane’s departure. My heart always expands with warmth when I think of her.

It’s All Gone

Blog #92

I do not know if the aftermath of the fire has opened my sensitivity or whether the elementals in my house and garden have come closer and more visible to me.  Whichever, it is happening to, for, with me.

I know it is very important for the salvation of humanity to remember, to return, and to regain the power and heart to relate with the spiritual dimension of life, particularly the angels and elementals which have been assigned to interact, support, and help humanity.

This I have been attempting to do for the last thirty years, ever since I first met Mano. It has taken the fire to open the way in a clearer manner to my seeing, hearing, and feeling their presence. The elementals that I relate with on a regular basis have been very present after the fires. I don’t know if I have been ‘out of my body’ and thus functioning more into the etheric realm or if the elementals have moved into a denser spiritual dimension to be closer to me. I am delighted that it is happening.

The first morning after evacuating my home I was aware of seven little elementals all sitting in my lap. This morning they showed themselves to me to comfort me and let me know they had come with me.

The first time I returned to the land, just days after the fire, I was surprised that everything felt so sweet. Looking at the rubble that had once been my home, I marveled that even though the statue of Mary was right next to a burning wall she was still intact. All of the layers of paint had burned off of her clothes but the color was still on her face and hands. Other statues didn’t make it.

While my son and his wife walked through the rubble, I lay on the grass. The earth felt so nourishing. I was aware that little hands were patting my leg. They were comforting me and loving me.

On another visit to the land I went to the Amphitheater to see what happened to that sacred space. It was surrounded with a ring of fire. Trees burned to the ground. Redwoods with fire more than halfway up the trunk. The mother tree was badly burned with lots of fallen branches around her. I just looked and loved her and didn’t try to go near. Amazingly the center of the Amphitheater, with chairs all in place ready for the next workshop that was to happen at the end of the week, were all in place, no furniture burned. The Amphitheater felt normal.

I could not connect with any of the spirits of the land that usually greet me, so I lay on the earth holding a quiet mind with deep heart gratitude that the Amphitheater had been spared. It was very hot, I was physically and emotionally exhausted. I lay on the ground for around half an hour. I tried to reach out but there was no contact with the spirits of the land.

I then felt a presence, a one-foot-tall gnome who I call the keeper of the land was standing in front of me. They usually come in a lively group whenever I arrive in the Amphitheater. This little one felt shy, even hesitant. I could feel his words flow into my heart, “We have been traumatized. It feels so good to have your presence return to the land. We thought you were lost in the fire.”

At that moment my driver arrived. I had to leave. As I walked to the car, I felt many of the workers, the brothers, the spirits of the land walking with me. I was so happy and relieved to feel their presence once again.

Last week I took my walking sticks so I could walk father into the area of the house than I had been able to go before. When I got to the center, I was aware of 7 larger gnomes about waist high. I had never been aware of them before. I said, “What are you doing here? I would have thought you had moved to safety.”  They imparted the awareness that they had been assigned to stay with the fire.

My next encounter gave me a hint on perhaps why they had been asked to stay.

There is a tight circle of five huge redwood trees in the front yard. I call them the Sisters.  From a distance they look like one tree. I loved sitting on a log in the little opening in the center and feeling the presence of the Sisters surrounding me. The inside was badly burned and the log was gone, but the flames only went up around 20 feet.

I felt tears, and put my cheek on the bark of the first tree. I started to cry, then to sob. As I sobbed, words floated through my mind saying, “It is all gone, it is all gone, it’s all gone, everything is gone. We have been a part of everything that has gone on in this cottage and yard. Now it’s all gone.”

Pictures flowed through my mind and I saw the monthly pot luck gatherings we held after the circle dance. That 22-year monthly gathering was part of the trees’ life experience. I saw myself walking in and out of the house calling hello to the Sisters.  I then saw my family gathering in the yard, the grandchildren growing from toddlers to beautiful mature adults. And one last time, through my sobs I heard the words, “It’s all gone.”

Dear Grandma- Thank you so much for this raw and beautiful reflection. It’s so hard to know that it’s all gone, and so beautiful to know you were greeted and cared for by your elementals. Love you – Tanya

So wonderful to have you share with us. And to know some of our little ones still around the area. Thank you. You’ve been in my heart and as I came by your place today on my way to pick up our truck from Maggie’s, several folks were there at your place, planning. Thought you’d enjoy our “Kermit” the Hermit Thrush story, as he is here every day, around the yard. He follows us everywhere and is within 4 feet when Alex splits wood and moves firewood. Unafraid, he hops right down, often with an adorable chirp when he spies a bug or grub. He looks right at us, and is quite a personality. Such blessings. We are fine and enjoying the warm fall weather, as we gather firewood and share truck loads of dry wood with Maggie too. Sending you hugs and love. Looking forward to seeing you when you can. Dottie

I have so many good memories of that home. I am grateful that my children got to spend time there. I think Cedric will have a few memories of his visits even though he was young.
