REMINDER from Mano:
A simple hello and thank you sends an enormous blessing to the elemental spirits in nature. They love when people acknowledge and appreciate them.
REMARKS from Barbara:
Recently an acquaintance asked, “Barbara, what is an elemental?” It makes my heart sad to realize how few people know of the reality of the elemental kingdom. Thus, how little acknowledgement and appreciation they receive from the people (humanity) they serve.
REMEMBERING Mary Jane:
Mary Jane presented this teaching in Blog #9. I now share it again in Blog #83.
The Reality of the Elemental Kingdom
Blog #83
September 11, 2013 I woke up with these thoughts running through my mind:
“I have concern that humanity seems to be very disconnected from nature. People think that their life needs are supplied by Wal-Mart, Costco, Safeway, Rite Aid, and Best Buy. I saw this innocence and ignorance played out in my own life when, years ago—before I entered my spiritual path and conscious eating—my little daughter was so surprised to learn that lemonade came from real lemons and not out of a can from the freezer.
“Everything, absolutely everything, every product in our house, everything that makes up our life, first came from the earth. Food, clothing, cars, houses, telephones, iPods, computers—earth supplied it all.
“One step further, even among those who do recognize that all products and produce come from resources within the earth, few realize that those products and produce are governed by intelligent beings known as elementals.
“Everything is composed of the four elements: earth, air, fire, and water, with some acknowledgement of a fifth nonphysical element called ether. What many do not know is that each element is made up of living intelligent beings.
“It is my understanding that these elemental beings within earth, air, fire, and water mostly inhabit bodies made of small points of etheric light. When they wish they can take on a body still made of ether, but in a physical form. These forms can look like pictures I have seen of gnomes, elves, fairies, water, or fire spirits.
“Children under school age, whose senses remain open and innocent and have not been programmed, and adults who have psychic or second sight, have often seen elementals in these forms. The drawings and stories in fairy tales and folklore tell of these intelligent nature spirits.
“In earlier times, in rural areas where uneducated peasants depended on nature for their survival, these people of simple heart intelligence often saw and interacted with the elementals. Every country in the world has stories of these elemental nature beings.
“My friend, Brother Phillip, a gardener on a Vedanta Center in Southern California, had a special relationship with the elemental of one particular plant. Every time he walked by, the plant managed to reach out and touch him.
“One day I walked to the amphitheater touching each plant as I walked saying ‘Hello, I love you, thank you, you are beautiful.’ After the seven-minute walk my heart was filled with love and I was giddy with joy from the experience of interacting with the elementals of the plants along the walk.
“Knowledge of the reality of these elemental beings is mostly lost in today’s fast-paced supermarket, shopping mall consciousness. These nature beings need people to know of their existence, to speak to them, love and appreciate them. They need human interaction.”
Today as I write this Blog and look around my room with the intention to appreciate and give thanks to the elemental beings for the basic supply of wood, fabric, glass, pottery, tea in my cup, I realize everything I am looking at is more than the substance and consciousness of an elemental being. I see it as a collaboration and co-creation of elemental substance, angelic inspiration, and human creative ingenuity.
In reality this combination of human, elemental, and angel inspiration is the basic union offered to each human when we first came to the planet millions of years ago. Arriving from the 5th dimension to live and create a life in the 3rddimension of earth. Each was given a guardian angel and a guardian elemental to teach and guide this creative process. The angel’s vast creative inspiration, and the elemental’s knowledge of substance taught the human how to create and use what was needed to live a comfortable life on earth.
This collaboration is still functioning with angelic inspiration and elemental substance inspiring human creators to make the things I am looking at as I look around my home to see and acknowledge the gifts of the elemental kingdom.
Just as many humans don’t recognize the elemental kingdom in the food they eat, the clothes they wear, the household items, many humans do not recognize the creative inspiration, the intuitive thoughts that pop into our mind, as coming from the angelic realm.
We are not alone. We each have a Guardian Angel and a Guardian Elemental. My life has been enormously enriched through interacting with my Guardian Angel, Rama, and Mano who I now recognize as my Guardian Elemental. I live in gratitude and wish this awareness were true for everyone on the planet.
Hello Barbara,
Thank you for Mano’s message! I enjoyed hearing about Brother Phillip. I was made aware recently that I am a Flora Empath. If anyone is drawn to the woods, mountains, waterfalls or bodies of water to be close to nature, you might be a plant empath. They can sense if plants are healthy or what they require for healing. Some empaths can hear the plants when they talk to them.
Many blessings to you!
With love,
Liz

Thanks very much, Barbara, for your inspiring reminders for me to open my consciousness with more awareness to the angelic realm. Just today as I was preparing a garden bed, I was sensing the miracle of clearing the space where seeds will have what they need to grow into their given fullness. So with us as humans as we open to our own special journeys and the nourishing helpers around us.
Oh Barbara, thank you for your clarity describing all of this world and making it so visible. Blessings.
This is one of my favorites! I love the beauty and simplicity of your expression of this interaction with intentional gratitude and love.
